Plain words, no small print
Privacy
We collect very little, and we'll show you all of it.
Terra Bloom is run by people who don't like being tracked online, so the site is built the way we'd want a site to treat us: no advertising trackers, no profiles, no cookie banner — because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
Who we are
Terra Bloom is a small UK scent practice. For anything in this policy, the person to write to ishello@terrabloom.co.uk — a real inbox, read by a real person.
What we collect
- When you write to us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply, and keep the thread only as long as the conversation needs.
- When you join the newsletter: your email address, held by our newsletter service (Buttondown) and used only to send the letter. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
- When you place an order: your name, delivery address, and order details — the minimum needed to get a parcel to your door and meet our legal record-keeping duties. Payment details are handled by the payment provider; we never see your card number.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your details to anyone, for any reason.
- Use advertising trackers, social pixels, or profiling.
- Email you marketing you didn't ask for.
Counting visits without watching you
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It works without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without following you across the web — we see aggregate counts, not individuals. That's why this site has no cookie banner: there's nothing to ask consent for.
Who handles your data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the anonymous visit counts.
- Buttondown stores newsletter addresses, if you subscribe.
- Royal Mail receives your name and address on the parcel, when you order.
That's the whole list. Each handles only what it needs to do its one job.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Emailhello@terrabloom.co.uk and we'll act on it — no forms, no friction. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to theInformation Commissioner's Office.
Make good intention. Get better and brighter.
